Mike Beebe works as a project consultant, researcher, and prototyper interested in the intersection of traditional business analytics, design, and user research. He conducts and analyzes research to help develop innovative client offerings. Before Doblin, Mike worked as a graphic designer and researcher at Catapult Thinking in Boston, primarily working with clients in the music manufacturing business and pet food industry. Mike made the move to design research in order to have an influence on what was made and to make the artifacts of design more effective. This interest in learning how to use design research and how to use it to help promote business objectives lead him to the Institute of Design. In addition to receiving a Master of Design from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, he holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati. The program at the University of Cincinnati exposed him to a wide range of experiences through its co-op program, which consists of alternating quarters of work and school.
