Mary Bulnes Vélez
Design
Toronto
As a trained industrial designer, I learned how to create narratives through objects and visuals by using an analytical lens. As a Dobliner, I'm constantly learning about the ways in which I can be an advocate for the users we meet so I can tell their story in a compelling and truthful way. At Doblin, I've worked with financial institutions, public sector clients and even a baseball team.
During my design career, I worked as an independent product designer, was part of a multidisciplinary team ideating innovative solutions for a children's hospital, and had a short-lived career as a toy-maker.
When not at work, you'll probably find me running or reading my latest find from the Toronto Public Library.
