Melissa Mak

Design

New York

I'm a designer who aims to make sense of complex problems and communicate concepts in playful, concise and compelling ways through strategic thinking and empathy. In my work at Doblin, I visualize data, illustrate user stories and concepts, build user interfaces, and help codify the design and innovation processes. As a curious person, I enjoy making new discoveries by way of asking a lot of questions. I design to create meaningful experiences and stories based on what I learn from user insights and an understanding of our clients’ businesses and needs. I try my best to make positive change for the human experience.

Education

BFA in Communication Design – Carnegie Mellon University
